Medical device manufacturer, Brightwake, has issued a medical device safety alert concerning its Algivon Honey Dressing [Catalogue Number (REF): CR3831, CR3659; Lot/Batch Numbers: WO027891, WO027894] & Activon Tube [Catalogue Number (REF): CR3830; Lot/Batch Numbers: WO028513, WO028510]

According to the manufacturer, the affected products were not properly sterilised. If the affected product is used, it may result in infection or serious injury to the patient.

The manufacturer advised users to identify and stop using the affected product.

According to the local supplier, the affected products are not distributed in Hong Kong.
