Medical device manufacturer, CAIR LGL, has issued a medical device safety alert concerning its Adapters with the C-Cure valve [Reference: EL603; Batch: 20C18-TC]
Following feedback from one of the customers, the manufacturer detected a problem of disconnection of the valve from the connector of the associated tubing. This issue can cause liquid leakage and delay in chemotherapy preparation. The manufacturer is instructing affected users to remove the affected product from use.
According to the manufacturer, the affected product is distributed in Hong Kong.
