Medical device manufacturer, Philips Medical Systems Nederland B.V., has issued a medical device safety alert concerning its Height Adjustable (HA) FlexTrak Trolley used with MR systems [HKMD No.: 110501, 120210, 190186, 190390, 200408, 200409].
According to the manufacturer, Philips has identified that oil may leak from the HA FlexTrack Trolley when pressing the hydraulicpedal, resulting in a potential slipping/falling hazard.
If oil leakage occurs, the risk to patients, operators, and service personnel may include physical harm from falling (e.g. abrasion, bruise, laceration, fracture, concussion).
