The United Kingdom Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has posted a medical device safety alert concerning LifeSciences (Ireland) Ltd – CUSA Excel 23KHz Straight Handpiece [Reference: C2600] [HKMD number: 160375].
According to the MHRA, through an internal investigation of customer complaints, it was identified that there is a potential for the CUSA Excel 23KHz Handpiece housing to crack.
